We would like to introduce our education birds. These birds and their handlers provide a valuable service to all that come into contact with them. Our education birds will visit any venue they can and all our bird handlers give willingly of their time to talk to people about birds and our group. We do not charge for our programs.
Rehabilitation is central to the Juneau Raptor Center’s mission. We take in all types of sick and injured wild birds, from hummingbirds to eagles. Most of our patients are found in the Juneau area, however we also receive birds from communities around Southeast Alaska.
